MESSY CHURCH
Messy
Church is for youngsters, parents and carers, and involves craft and other
activities, a short worship slot in church followed by a simple meal. It
is being adopted all over the country and is an
effective way of inviting youngsters and adults to St Paul’s during the
week instead of on Sundays. Messy Church takes place in St Paul’s
Church and the Parish Room on the 2nd Tuesday in each month during
term-time - starts at 3:30pm. Contact is David Balding.
KIDSZONE
Kidszone is a club for 9-12 year old children, which forms part of our
outreach into the local community. It is run in a partnership
between Molesey Youth Centre (Surrey Youth Services) and the three
Anglican churches in Molesey (St Mary’s, St Paul’s & St Peter’s) and
further supported by some of the other Molesey Churches.
We meet every Tuesday between 5:15pm and 6:45pm during term time, where
the children engage in activities aimed at building self esteem, healthy
team dynamics and community cohesion.
The model of activities includes team challenges, games and arts and
crafts: e.g. five-aside-football, soft ball sports, introduction to
gardening, hand-made cards, costume jewellery making, T shirt painting,
African drumming and other activities.
We work within the guidelines of both the Diocesan and Surrey County
Council's Child Protection Policy.

and Guides for girls and Cubs, Beavers, Scouts and Explorers for boys.
They meet in the early evenings at a number of locations, none of which
